The chief Emeka Agba Foundation has embarked on a social intervention scheme to help the youth in the country called “From Street to Skill, to Success.”
The initiative under the care of the foundation, notable for their mantra, “Care for humanity ” says the project will oversee empowerment of Nigerian youths, equip them with skills including opportunities and lasting hopes to help them build a better nation.
Announcing this to the media, the foundation’s Chief Executive Officer, Chief Emeka Agba said that the initiative which is based on phases across the country, will specifically concentrate on youths in Ibeju-Lekki, Lagos, for this phase. He said the youth deserve today skills for brighter future, while appealing to the government, and well meaning individuals in the country do more and think on investing in the growth of the country through vibrant youths that are equipped with skills.

According to Chief Agba, the foundation is built on project structure called “youth transformation city: from street to skills initiative.”
“It involves youth rehabilitation and counselling centre that prepare them for better future, vocational training that teaches youths on skill acquisition, employability and self sustaining career, digital skill to drive the current ICT needs, entrepreneurial hub where ideas are nurtured for startups and economic empowerment.
“Others are practical agricultural training in modern farming including initiative healthcare and counselling services, while sports and recreational activities for youths and welfare facilities to keep the participants glued to the project are also introduced,” Chief Agba said.
While speaking on the foundation goals which are empowerment, skills and long lasting opportunities for youths, Agba charged the public to key into the foundation initiative by being part of the projects through donations and any means to contribute to its sustainability, while urging public to log on to the foundation’s website for more information.
“It is utmost desire to see the youth of this country become very creative, utilize their God given talents in any area they will excel and make use of opportunities available to them to better their future. Government cannot do it alone. That is why I am charging on private individuals, corporate bodies and agencies to engage youths. This will help to redirect their mind from criminality and other vices,” Chief Agba said.
