Lifestyle: Keep your emotions right

WHEN EVERYONE TURNS AGAINST ONE PERSON, PAUSE AND INVESTIGATE.

There is a powerful lesson I have learned in life: when you see many people rising against one individual, do not automatically assume the majority is right. Sometimes, the person being rejected possesses qualities that make others uncomfortable.

Discipline. Principles. Strong character. Focus. Conviction. Independence of thought. A refusal to compromise values simply to please people. A serious attitude toward life. An unwillingness to entertain mediocrity.

People who cannot be easily influenced are sometimes labelled difficult, proud, arrogant, or problematic, especially by those who benefited from their silence or compliance.

I know this because I have lived it. There was a time I disliked someone simply because everyone around me disliked him. I never investigated. I simply followed the crowd.

Not anymore.

Today, I believe in doing my own research, listening carefully, observing character and reaching my own conclusions.

Never hate someone because the crowd hates them. Sometimes, the very qualities that make someone unpopular are the qualities that make them exceptional.

Culled from George Sichula’s page.

Note* this is very inspiring and revealing too. Many people are in this situation. It’s only a statement like this that can evoke some emotional realignment.

Life is a journey of priorities. Those that allow selves to be driven by societal wind blames self for not prioritizing choices made in life.
Live a life of priority today. End well and blame no one.
