Oba Arowotawaya takes cultural business to Cairo Arab-African Global Business Summit

His Royal Majesty, Oba Michael Odunayo Ajayi, Arowotawaya II, Elerinmo of Erinmo Ijesa land in Osun makes a royal appearance as the Arab-African Global Business Summit, Nexus & Exhibitions 2026, will hold from August 10 to 15, 2026, at the Hilton Cairo Grand Nile Hotel and the World Trade Center, Cairo, Egypt, the Arab African Investors Association.
Oba Elerinmo, as a revered global cultural ambassador, has featured in many global engagements, peace building discuss and cultural integration among African States, and his presence at the summit will provide diplomatic gravitas, cultural and moral guidance as a custodian of people’s heritage.
He will lead the special opening prayer and keynote speech at the event, while participating in a panel session that would discuss cultural issues and peace-building mission among African States.
The summit, themed “The Global Nexus: Converging Markets, Transforming the Future of Arab Africa,” aims to bring together governments, investors, CEOs, development institutions, traditional kings, innovators and business leaders to strengthen investment, trade, sustainable development and cultural ties across Africa and the Arab world.
Organisers said the forum will focus on investment opportunities in energy, infrastructure, agriculture, manufacturing, digital economy, mining and technology, while promoting partnerships expected to attract significant investments, strengthen regional trade including peace-buioding discourse to position Cairo as a leading hub for global business diplomacy.
Some major highlights of the global summit included a cultural funfair that will feature royal procession and opening prayer that will involve convergence of kings, queens, nobles and diplomats across Africa, who will extensively discuss matters of cultural interest, regional progression, peace building and economic advancement and cultural ties among the countries of the African continent.
In addition, there will be an exhibition of cultural and innovation while a grand cultural beauty pageant.
His Royal Majesty, Oba Dr. Michael Odunayo Ajayi JP, Arowotawaya II, the Elerinmo of Erinmo, is a member of the the Governing Council of the Institute of Alternative Dispute Resolution Development and Conflict Management of Nigeria (I-ADRN).
The cerebral monarch who, in the past has participated actively in community conflict disputes and cultural matters is expected to bring his wealth of experience to bear, in adjudication of disputes and resolutions, with regard to traditional matters.
Oba Elerinmo, also a member of the African Consortium for Law and Religion Studies (ACLARS), in which his contributions initiated and fostered cultural exchange and cooperation among African nations, has been in the forefront of advocacy for peaceful coexistence among Africans nations.
