The octogenarian whose humour dazzles beyond all ages had continued to be a public delight and a cynosure among the youths and sundry.
At every public gathering, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo would display healthy fitness through mesmerizing dancing steps adding glamour to events.
His recent healthy hobnobbing with Nigeria’s maverick entertainer, Charles Oputa, popularly know as CHARLY BOY has elicited curiosity in all talking lounges.

Obasanjo in the recent time, has professed his likeness for the ‘Area-fada’ Charly boy. And Charly, on his own side has glued to the godfather with the might of one who has seen a father like no other.
Obasanjo, despite all the love he has for Charly Boy, bemoans his maverick dispositions at initial time.

He openly confessed that he wished Charles was like his late father, Justice Chukwudiofu Oputa, a legal luminary and one of Nigeria’s finest gentlemen.

Obasanjo, in a recent interview with a blogger said, “At first, I hated Charly Boy for his ‘jaga-jaga’ lifestyle. But when I visited his home and behold how homely he was, taking care of his aged father, I changed my mind about him.
“When I enquired to know why he live the way he lives, Charles replied and said, ‘na there I dey make money for chop.’
“Since then, I began to understand his kind of jaga-jaga and loved him more.

Today, Obasanjo and Charly Boy enjoys unusual affinity that creates more healthy conversations in all corners.
